DeGroots.ca is one of our many Custom Websites. It involves everything we can do from start to finish. A new sitemap was proposed based on migrating the most important information from their old website, re-organized for easy navigation and optimal usability for the primary target market. We supplemented these pages with custom copywriting geared towards Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and professionalism. Easy-to-use plugins were added such as an events calendar, a blog (John’s Garden Clippings), a customized operating hours plugin (appears in the top menu to encompass the frequently changing nursery and teahouse hours), a single opt-in newsletter signup, and beautiful gallery. To seamlessly tie the whole project together, DeGroot’s utilized our custom photography session, consisting of staged product and landscaping shots as well as footage of their staff in action. These photos are now displayed throughout the entire website and featured in the Landscape Gallery. The website is built using a WordPress Content Management System that also allows the staff at DeGroot’s full access to make their own site updates.
As a thriving local business, DeGroot’s Nurseries celebrated their 60th anniversary, and we helped them every step of the way! Current designs for this celebration focus on a classic theme to highlight the exceptional length of time they have been in business. Using a beautiful shimmering gold, in a large font, we hope to feature their success and accomplishments. The 60th logo has been incorporated into all of their print products and advertising initiatives, including their anniversary celebration invite, tri-fold brochures, postcards, and various print ads, such as our Life Inspired publication.
