“Together, we make a difference every single day.” United Way of Chatham-Kent is a charitable organization, which means that they rely heavily on donated funds and services. By having the home page of their website focus on local individuals through ‘impact videos’, the hope is that this will garner attention showing the specific people that this charity is helping. We re-worked the initial layout of the site and structured it for easy navigation. This site was developed using an integrated WordPress Content Management System with responsive layouts to ensure the best user experience across all platforms; including desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile. It was crucial to them to create a site that easily engaged potential donors, as well as acting as a resource for people in need.

United Way uses Mailing Campaigns to help boost awareness and funding for their cause. Using a Neighbourhood Mail Campaign, ‘Bushels of Hope’, they targeted farms and rural routes in the Chatham-Kent region with over 3,000 pieces of mail that included pledge forms to be mailed back with donations. They also revisited an older campaign called the ‘Lil Red Envelope’ but with a fresh and current approach. Using the Canada Post Personalized Mail, we mailed 1,300 of these directly to previous donors in a red themed, personally addressed envelope requesting continued financial support.
